This smoothie was inspired by a conversation in my spin class when the instructor was talking about his craving for a PB&J sandwich. I wanted to try a healthy twist using Almond Butter and fresh berries and voila, it was very tasty. Not quite the PB&J from your childhood but is anything really???

 

Serves 2

 Ingredients:

  • 16 oz. unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 2 T chia seeds
  • 2 T PB & Me Almond Butter powder
  • 1 cup frozen wild blueberries
  • Handful fresh blueberries
  • 1 ½ t Maca powder
  • 1 t vanilla
  • Sprinkle of cinnamon, plus more on top
  • 4-5 ice cubes

Directions:

Blend all ingredients, then add ice and blend again until smooth and creamy.  Serve and Enjoy!

Notes:

*If you’re not sharing, store extra in a tightly sealed Mason Jar for the next day
