Believe me, I can relate to your struggles. As a wife and mother of three grown children, I too lived the diet lose-weight/gain-weight rollercoaster that you’ve probably experienced. Because of my experience and training, I understand that there is No Single Diet That Works for Everyone! I also know that a diet that helped you lose weight when you were under 40 will likely not work for you when you’re over 40 or post-menopausal.
My goal is for you to Feel Better in Your Body!
I get it. I understand that you are human and imperfect. (I am too!) I will suggest that you follow an 80/20 rule; 80% of the time I will want you to try to be as conscientious as possible about the choices you make – but – allow yourself to indulge and enjoy now and again. That is the 20% in my formula. Think of it as permission to enjoy special events, occasions, or treats now and then. That way, there’s no guilt or negative self-talk.
I work with people who are:
- Struggling with various stages of Menopause – for whom simple diets and exercise no longer work as they used to.
- Fighting to maintain their weight after a weight loss “program” – and are afraid to get back to eating “real food” because they no longer know what is “safe”.
- Addicted to sugar – and finding their lives unmanageable without their daily “fix” of the sweet stuff.
- Preparing for surgery – and want to lose weight and rid their bodies of the inflammation and toxins to help them have a speedier and less painful recovery.
- Seeking sustainable change – rather than the ongoing, destructive cycle of weight loss/weight gain they’ve been living.
- Looking for empathy, understanding, support, and encouragement – on their journey toward a healthy, happy, vibrant life.
These are NOT modest goals – yet they ARE reachable goals, requiring a step-by-step approach to achieving them. You have my FULL COMMITMENT that I will be there WITH YOU every step of the way, to help you learn how to make better choices, and to recognize which foods may “trigger” you to continue your negative pattern. Of course, I can make suggestions and recommendations, but you must be willing to COMMIT to follow them in order to be SUCCESSFUL.

Beyond my own experience with the weight loss/weight gain cycle, I have received my Health and Wellness training and Coaching Certification through an intensive year-long course with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition™ (IIN), based in NYC. I also took an additional 6-month long Immersion course and received my certification through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP). I have also received my certification as a Thyroid Coach through Full Potential Living® as well as my certification as a Wellness Cooking Instructor.
I work with women, men, and teens, all of whom may be struggling with body-image problems, weight loss/weight gain issues, and healthy nutrition and diet questions. I am passionate in my belief that Change is Possible, and I am Fully Committed to Helping You Get There!

Prior to meeting with Debbie and starting this program, I had done many “diets“ and none seemed to stick. I would lose the weight and then eventually it would creep back on. When I started to work with Debbie, I began to really learn about food- what fuels my body, what helps to keep me full, and what is sustainable. I started to really look at labels more, became more aware of what to have before and after a workout and started to have a plate of veggies with a side of protein rather than the other way around! I was given loads of recipes that are easy to follow.
I have been adding more pressed juices as a “go to snack” instead of snacks that don’t have nutritional value. I am trying to cook more dinners at home that are balanced.
I definitely feel more informed about food than ever before.
